Greenway Electrical Ltd. was selected to carry out the electrical installation for the redevelopment of Windermere’s former Royal Hotel, an iconic building that has been transformed into an award-winning landmark development. The project beautifully combines contemporary architectural design with the preservation of many traditional elements, creating a striking and harmonious blend of old and new in the heart of the Lake District.
The development now comprises seven retail units and sixteen high-specification apartments, offering a vibrant mix of commercial and residential spaces. Greenway Electrical Ltd. played a crucial role in this transformation, ensuring that the electrical systems were not only efficient and modern but also seamlessly integrated into the overall design of the building.
Externally, the team installed sophisticated lighting systems to enhance the visual appeal of the development while ensuring safety and security. This included underground car park lighting, providing clear illumination for residents and visitors. Sub main cabling was installed to supply power to the retail units, ensuring reliable and consistent energy delivery for the commercial spaces.
Inside the building, Greenway Electrical Ltd. was responsible for installing power and lighting in all communal areas, ensuring these shared spaces were both functional and welcoming. The installation was designed to meet the high standards expected of such a prestigious development, with careful attention given to both aesthetic and practical considerations.
