The company was founded in 1956 by Preston born Harry Greenway.

Keeping with tradition, Greenway Electrical has held it’s family values close to its heart, these values are something that we feel have attributed to our success and can be shown through our reliability, efficiency and professionalism and dedicated employees, some of whom have worked for us for over 50 years.

On Harry’s retirement, Greenway Electrical was taken over by his son Philip Greenway who built the company up over the next 30 years alongside a strong team.

When Philip Greenway retired in 2020, the company was bought out by Stephen Walkden and Paul Blackburn who both started as Apprentices in the late 80’s and have over 30 years’ experience working for Greenway Electrical.

Our reputation has earnt us a loyal set of clients in a wide range of Commercial Industries – Our quality of service is second-to-none.

As long-standing members of the National Inspection Council (NICEIC) and the Electrical Contractors Association (ECA), we offer an assurance of high standards.

We are also certified by Constructionline, and are members of the Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme (CHAS).

Whilst being a traditional company we are also innovative with our fleet of modern and fully-equipped vehicles for Commercial and Industrial Installation, Repair and Maintenance.

All of our members of staff are highly qualified, professional and have undergone extensive training, and are JIB Approved Electricians – many have been with us since their Apprenticeships.
